Is Craigieburn a fire prone area?

Hi Karin,
No major reportings of any bush fires in Craigieburn in a long while.
There was an out of control blaze earlier this year in February which started in Donnybrook and headed south towards Epping and Campbelfield, which burnt out over 2000 hectares of dry grassland.
There was only one home effected by the blaze.
Our nearest Fire station is centrally situated on Craigieburn Road, Craigieburn.
