Is Duncraig a good place to live for beach lovers that can't afford beach side?

Definitely! The beach is still within walking & cycling distance (a couple of km). You can't see it (unless you buy one of the elevated South Duncraig blocks) but it's easy access, and you still get the sea breezes.
