is the sound from the freeway annoying?. how close are you?

I live one block from the freeway in Laverton and the sound from my front yard is more or less noticeable depending on the time and which way the wind is blowing.
It can get a little loud around peak times but otherwise it is barely noticeable. From inside the house it is not noticeable at all.
