Summer Stage is fantastic! I saw Ani DiFranco there relatively cheaply in 2006 and she really got a crowd going. Also worthwhile is the Shakespeare in the Park - free Shakespeare, with some serious names in the cast! (Sam Waterston, Jonathan Groff, to name some recent bigwigs). You have to wait on line, but it's completely worth it. Just bring mosquito repellent and a blanket; summer nights get cold!
Free Shakespeare. You don't get that very often, especially here in the city. Now that is an event I would love to check out.
Anyone of you guys been to the Central Park Zoo? A mate said they have a polar bear!
