I thought that this was an April Fool's joke from ages ago! Was it real after all?

@ajadedidealist it was real enough for it was even covered by BBC world news yesterday. Seems it was the 10th anniversary of the event. I have never really witnessed the No Pants subway ride. Have any of you?

They do this every year! Can there still be a person in this city who is surprised when no pants day comes around again? I doubt I would look up from my newspaper.

I would never go in the subway with no pants on, especially in the winter. I'd be embarrassed and freeze my butt off.

There was a guy in a fast food place the other night with no pants on, saying it's National No Pants Day. All I could think was, Fool! We're in the middle of a January storm!

He did, and proceeded to put on his pants in the middle of the place. Really charming. I love when people subject me to their ridiculous behavior.

@hhusted The girl behind the counter told him she wouldn't serve him unless he put on some pants, but she was like a 17 year old kid and wasn't exactly ready to stand her ground.

@Urankiumfish: Obviously a 17-year old girl won't do anything. She probably got a laugh out of it herself, even if she didn't do it at the moment.
