Best places to live in Melbournes Northern Suburbs?
Melbourne's Northern suburbs get an unfairly bad wrap - what are the best suburbs to live in the North? Essendon?

Those who give it a bad wrap know nothing about it. I grew up in Greensborough, then moved to Bundoora. Such beautiful, peaceful suburbs. Green, hilly and quiet. I've now moved into Northcote, inner North and am loving it. Am a young professional and would not consider any other suburb from those in the inner North to 15-20km out. Clifton Hill, Thornbury, Bundoora, Ivanhoe, Essendon, Carlton.... the list goes on....I'm very happy where I am though..
