Gossip Girl? NYC Prep?

What are your thoughts on these two juicy NYC-set shows? Personally, I love the former - it's sharp social satire mixed with a bit of guilty-pleasure soap (that said, I hate the books - picked up one when I was eleven and put it down immediately, never to look at it again!). But NYC Prep was just embarrassingly trashy...

@ajadedidealist Ihaven't really watched either of them though I have read umpteen interviews with Blake Lively of Gossip Girl fame.(she seems to be quite a tabloid darling). Maybe I think I am too old for the shows and amuse myself watching shows like the Real Housewives of NYC, the very trashy Millionaire Matchmaker and other stuff like Grey's Anatomy and TLC's What Not To Wear

Gossip Girl, I love. When I'm making my way to the Met I would hope to catch them filming on the steps. Never happened, boo. They don't film there anymore since most of the main characters are now in college. I guess I'll never get my chance.. Haha!

I did see the other reality tv show, Project Runway Timm Gunn leaving Union Square.

I love Greys Anatomy! I got to see Kevin McKidd at the premiere of Percy Jackson and the Olympians! I got to touch his shoulder. Haha, sucks I didn't get the chance to get an autograph though.

I'm not as much of a fan of Blake Lively as I am of Leighton Meeister, who plays Blake's character's best friend/rival, Blair - a much more complex character, and rather better-acted. @msQT - did you see the latest episode? BROKE MY HEART!

I love Blair Waldorf! She is so much more complex / more fun / better acting! Blake Lively is terrible and way too old to be on that show. And, Serena's such a drip. I love that show; and, I, ahem, love Chuck Bass.
