As at Jan 2017, seems to be ok. I had no problem getting ADSL 2 with Dodo and recently been advised of an upgrade path to NBN estimated April 2017. I'm near Lake Eden and also know many others who have NBN at North Lakes.

I moved to North Lakes a year ago and had no problem getting an immediate NBN connection. I have never experienced a problem with mobile phone reception in the area of North Lakes where I live (opposite lake Eden).
