"North Narrabeen is one of the most picturesque locations on the North Beaches."

North Narrabeen is one of the most picturesque locations on the North Beaches. It wraps around Narrabeen Lagoon down to the North Narrabeen Ocean Pool, marine Park and world-famous North Narrabeen Surf Break. You can ride your bike around the Lagoon area and through the reserves past the NSW Sports Academy and back to Narrabeen. You will pass the popular Shark Park where we have a strong Rugby League following and do a complete loop of the local area, passing local restaurants and cafes plus shopping Village centre.

"Quiet, convenient and affordable - a real gem of the Northern Beaches"

Walk to the beach, shops, schools, and excellent parks - plus of course, beautiful Narrabeen Lakes.

Good public transport, restaurants that deliver enough variety for even the most ardent take-away lover.

A comfortable commute to the city with a relaxed, friendly, holiday-like atmosphere on the weekends.

What's not to like? You'll love it!

"Warriewood - best place to raise a family!"

I grew up in Warriewood in a cul-de-sac with a fantastic family spirit, and I still have friends today that I grew up with there. You are close to the beach, shops, cafes and transport without feeling like you are 'in' it.

I personally wouldn't want to live on one of the postage stamp sized blocks down in the new valley development, but think that the houses up on the high side of the valley are lovely. All rock solid homes that have stood the test of time with mostly large block sizes.

The street I grew up in (Awaba Place) was actually featured on A Current Affair as 'Australia's Friendliest Street', which goes to show the type of suburb Warriewood is.

"NORTH NARRABEEN EXCELLENT SUBURB"

We have just moved into north narrabeen and we love it, plenty of parks for the children, friendly neighbors and RSL around the corner what more doe you want! Not to mention short walk or ride to the beach and lake this is the best value for money suburb in the northern beaches.

Dont bother reading those reviews done by people who dont live in the area and just obtain the stats from the web!

"A friendly neighbourhood close to everything!"

We couldn't ask for a better place to live than Warriewood. It is a quiet safe neighbourhood where children can safely play in the street with other neighbourhood kids. We are close to beaches, shops, movies, restaurants, fast food outlets, doctors and hospitals. It is easy to get to the City or western suburbs.

It is a very peaceful and quiet place to live, especially at night, you can hear nothing but the waves of the ocean crashing on the beach!

"Perfectly Positioned and Quiet"

Where ever you live in North Narrabeen you're close to everything. The Centro shopping mall is a couple of minutes away, Warriewood, Turrimetta and the very long Narrabeen beach are all a couple of mins away also. If you want safety for the kids, Narrabeen lake and its great kids play parks have it all. If its outdoor and lifestyle the surf, the lake, bike tracks and close proximity to 2 national parks are awesome. The lake is underestimated but as soon as they finish the path around the lake it will all take off. There are a few restaurants in NN but if you are prepared to walk across the bridge to Narrabeen there are plenty more. Alternatively 10 mins taxi and you can be in Mona Vale, Newport, Collaroy or Dee Why so options are plenty if you want a change.

The council is better than most others and are about to revamp the village of North Narrabeen. Apart from the good things in life what I like most about NN is its easy to get to work, the city is 40 mins away and to Macquarie Park 30 mins. 3 roads to the city, Pittwater Rd, Wakehurst Parkway and Mona Vale Rd. Getting home is easier than going to work but time it right and your laughing both ways.

"Little RICKARD ROAD GREAT SPOT CLOSE TO THE BEACH FRIEDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD"

We have just moved into what is known as little Rickard Road [it is the street lined with Maple trees that runs to the RSL club] Well the location is great walk to beach and lake, the neighbourhood is super friendly, its quite, bus into city is a short walk. Can't rate it high enough it is one of the only few northern beaches pockets where you can still pick up a bargain close to the beach, and many people are doing this you just need to look at the amount of renos. If Pittwater council proceed with the proposed development on Pittwater road then this will make this spot even more attractive.

"Picturesque North Narrabeen"

North Narrabeen is a suburb of Sydney 25 kilometres north of the CBD in the local government area of the Pittwater but still considered to be in the Northern Beaches Region of Sydney.

Bounded on the north by Warriewood, the east by the Pacific Ocean, the south by Narrabeen and to the west by Elanora Heights. The population in 2006 was 5186 with 26% under 18 and 15% over 60.

The suburb is mainly residential. There is no major shopping in North Narrabeen, except the trades, car sales and light industry between Garden Street and Warraba Road. There are only 6 restaurants in the suburb so most time out would be a short trip north or south. Shopping would be done at Warriewood on the Jacksons Road centre.

Garden St and Powder Works Road provide the main traffic thoroughfare for the suburb which leads to Pittwater Road for access north and south.

The North Narrabeen rock pool is a pleasant diversion which is underutilised. It can be accessed from Narrabeen Pde. There is little beach in the suburb, however most would swim at the beautiful beaches either side of the lakes outlet.

A pretty place to live.

"Warriewood Water and Farms"

Warriewood is a low lying suburb bounded on the north by Mona Vale, the east by the Pacific Ocean, the south by North Narrabeen and to the west by Ingleside. The population in 2006 was 4892 with 27% under 18 and 15% over 60. AS is the case with the higher northern beaches, the population are well educated with over half holding some qualification, degree or higher degree.

As you would expect from a low lying area there are quite a few waterways and wetlands areas. There is an extensive swampy reserve off Garden Street. The Warriewood Wetlands Walkway allows you to venture deep into the wetlands and see just what is hiding there. The mozzies do not hide. They make themselves very well known and are not afraid of an intimate relationship.

The beach is small but clean and pleasant. Situated between Lake Park (no lake in sight unless you count the ocean) and Birdwood Park, it has a good depth of sand and can be accessed via Narrabeen Parade where it becomes Sydney Road. The rocks come and go with the sea moving the sand about.

I have always liked Warriewood for some reason. It has a pleasant feel.
