Anyone from Perth - what is it like in terms of liveability and are the people friendly?

Perth is a really relaxed city (compared to Singapore where I come from). Cost of living here is slightly higher than most eastern states, especially with regards to buying or renting a property. It is definitely livable! You will get the one or two who think otherwise but Perth is generally safer than most cities in the world.

The people are very friendly and most are passionate about the footy, especially now since the Dockers have a good chance of making the Grand Final! Carn the Dockers!!!!
