Seeking Information about Ruthven Station to Cheddar Road Area
Hi All, my husband and I are looking at a property close to Cheddar Road (the 'good' side) and I'm seeking first-hand information/experience about safety in that area these days? It looks like the area has quite a bit of newer development, but I'm keen to hear if a ten minute walk from Ruthven station would be considered a 'safe' activity for a single woman in the evening, for instance. I'd also be really interested if you have any feedback about traffic noise etc. from Cheddar Road. Many thanks in advance!

I live in the area and have not had any problems. Cheddar is just a swooshing noise bc obv cars are not stopping at lights and accelerating thereafter. Just 60km swoosh!!! If you get what I mean! I walk from Ruthven briskly, again no problems. Bit curious as to what "good Cheddar" & "Bad Cheddar" is?? All the same to me. Its Something of a mixed community. I lock up very carefully! I had a $5.00 ashtray stolen from my front door setting, bit lame really. Good luck with your search.
