"Unhappy with the return I get"

I bought a house here 2 years ago with a good price but I am unhappy with the return I get. So make sure you ask around before buying a house here. Once bitten twice shy!

"We moved here in 1983"

My wife and i moved here 30 years ago and have had our children who have now left the nest and are living interstate now but we are still here. The facilities have improved greatly to a point now where the suburb offers everything one could wish for in easy reach. The suburb has a unique location within the northeast and its because of its geographical location - at the 4 corners of the suburbs' boundary there are shopping and/or entertaiment facilities. The Mt lofty hills face zone is 5 minutes away from the eastern corners. The suburb is not far from the Obahn Bus system which allows 35 minutes into the city and its a pleasant ride too. The air is clean and fresh, the walking and bike riding facilities are fantastic. There are plenty of sports clubs and great shools. I cycle from redwood park to the obahn track all the way to henley beach - with 90% of the ride on a dedicated bike path ! Howzat ! We feel safe and spoilt for choice. I feed the magpies by hand every night, there are k

"A great suburb for all ages"

We've been here almost 20 years and our daughter and her husband have now bought a home here. It's close to public transport, schools, shops, sporting areas...in fact everything you need. There's even a park with a playground around the corner. The blocks are large and the prices are reasonable. In summer the evenings are generally cooled by gully breezes. Overall a great place no matter what age group you are in.

Great for

  • Close to services, transport, shops, recreational areas, schools.
  • Leafy clean streets, quiet.

Not great for

  • Can't think of any.

Spot On : The Suburb of Redwood Park is ,without question, undervalued and is now considered an up-and-coming area in Metropolitan Adelaide. With Hospitals, Public Transport, Mjor Shopping Centre, it is value for money.

"Perfect suburb!"

I find Redwood Park to be such an underrated suburb!
it's filled with beautiful homes and i've lived here for eight years and i feel safe and at peace.

Some of the positives include:
- close to shopping centres (st anges, fairview green, redwood park shops)
and it's only a five or ten minute drive to get to the nearest westfield shopping centre!
- has plenty of access of public transport.
- ten minutes away from a major hospital and there are plenty of medical clinics nearby.
- friendly neighbourhoods.
- beautiful, spacious homes.
- close to lots of primary schools (including one private one) and high schools.
has an outstanding high school just off of milne road which is involved in the sporting community and gives students plenty of opportunites both in the country and outside of the country.

I can honestly not come up with any negatives about Redwood Park.
I have grown up here and never had any troubles with anything and the neighbourhood is both friendly and quiet. There are never any downsides for us!

"Undervalued, Close to City suburb"

Redwood Park, Undervalued and perhaps the most under rated suburb in Adelaide. Lets take a closer look :

1. It is close to Westfield Shopping Centre.
2. Is 15 minutes drive to the city.
3. Close to major Obahn Public Transport hub at Westfield.
4. Is close to a Major Hospital,
5. Has a Highly rated School,
6. Fantastic sporting culture,
7. Has large open parklands,
8. Has Council backed wetlands programs,
9. Has large residential blocks that are getting harder to find.
10.Its a No-Brainer...If you want sound Investment for a high yielding return, without the high price tags, Redwood Park is it !!

The same property in proximity to the city in Sydney Or Melbourne would be in excess of $800,000

Why do so many real Estate Agents live in Redwood Park ?? Just ask them !!

"Local agent how knows and loves real estate, Sam Doman."

I grew up in Redwood Park and my family would not live any where else. I have chosen to bring my kids up in here and the schools and parks are the best.

Have to Agree with Sam, This Suburb looks like the next "Burnside" of Adelaide, with green leafy outlook close to a major Hospital, Close to the City, Close to Major Transport, Fantastic Schools, Big size property blocks, low crime rates, Its no wonder many real estate Agents actually choose to live in Redwwod Park. That alone tells you something.

"Great location, close to shops, schools and o-bahn transport."

I brought a house in Ridgehaven about 6 years ago and love the location. It is close to schools (public and private), Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, O-Bahn transport, and is a very leafy suburb with views to the hills. It is not too far to drive to the city, but still has a great suburban feel. Big blocks are still available with lots of people improving their houses and gardens.
