Rental not per week

I am trying to find an apartment or condo to rent yearly. All I see is per week. I am not on vacation.

Hi Sabrina,
You don't rent the properties for a week. They have a weekly cost and you pay per calendar month. The lease will be 12 months or 6 months.

First time renting not in the USA. I am moving to Australia from Miami, Florida, USA.

Yes it is different from overseas. Prices are per week but the rental periods are generally 12 or 6 months as LisaS has stated.
