Kyla Street

"Tucked away and quiet - perfect family home"

Kyla Street is a quiet little street just off Lyndale Road. The neighbours are mostly owner occupiers and have been in the area a long time. This little pocket doesn't have any through traffic - very few cars go past! The street itslef has a steep crest so it isn't great for kids to play on the road - but you don't need this because there are so many parks within a short distance from here.

The local shops - is at Daisy Hill - which was rebuilt a few years ago. It has a great IGA that is well frequented by the other locals. The other specialty shops include a butcher, hairdresser, real estate agents, bakery, Indian restauarant, pizza shop, newsagent, fish and chips restaurant, cafe plus a few more.

There is a great medical centre and dental practice, vetinarian, physio etc...a petrol station for convinience.

Heading south, you are only a short drive to Logan Hyperdome. This is a great shopping facililty complete with cinema, bowling, piazza and hundreds of specialty shops - anchor tenants include KMart, Coles, BiLo, Woolworths, MYERS, BigW, Best n Less and ALDI.

Access to Brisbane - via the Pacific Motorway - it's extremely easy to reach the city. One of the main reasons we bought here in the firsts place - 25 minutes to the city, no traffic lights!!! There is a lot of upgrade works now being carried out on the Winnets St overpass - so traffic is a lot heavier - but the long term gain will benefit everyone who lives in this area. Likewise, just as easy to get to the Gold Coast south bound.

Education for the children - this area is abound with great schools - both public and private. John Paul boasts a very high reputation for quality of education.

There are some very good daycare facilities also - my son goes to Kimberley Park Early Learning Centre - it is a very small centre with only three rooms - but the service and care they receive here are great! Thumbs up for the ladies looking after our kids there!
