I grew up here and my parents still live there. It was always a great suburb and has got better with age. Great shopping centre and restaurants close by. Public transport is buses only but they run so frequently. Am tempted to buy here one day.

Moved here a few years back as bought a bargain house. House broken into twice in one year. Got fed up with the low life neighbours down the street who would hoon up and down the street at 3am. Other neighbour had a termite problem and seeming he didn't bother to have regular inspections done, had to rebuild half his house. Apparently termites are a big problem here. I also don't like the lane ways behind many of the houses - drunks walking home at 2am yahooing is annoying as are the trail bikes and occasional car that hoons along them. Yep, cars and trial bikes would hoon along behind my house. Also, council has to waste a lot of money maintaining this leafy suburb. Moved to Heathwood? House cost more but was worth it.

Love the fact the homes are all new, no dumps like inner city suburbs. Suburb is very quiet, those who live on the boundaries may hear the toll road. We don't hear a thing. No shopping centres and only one restaurant but of no concern to us, if we want these we drive to Mt Ommaney, Indooroopilly or the city.
