Owen Jones Row

"OJR is great"

Tidy little townhouse streets. Great for kids, close to shops and schools.

Bardwell Park

"Sydneys secret beauty"

Very nice suburb sitting on top of a hill looking towards the city. Also sits next to the Wolli Creek reserve. A very green area, big open parklands at the bottom of the hill, even has a long standing duck colony. Very quiet suburb, except for the birds, Cockatoos, Lorikeets etc. Whilst retaining an almost regional feel, is close to the city via both train and M5. The hill also attracts sea breezes making this a very pleasant suburb in summer.

Great for

  • Quiet
  • Leafy with parks
  • Nice views common
  • Neighbourhood

Mount Druitt

"Terrible part of Sydney"

Ok during the day, has a Westfield for shopping, not much else though. Dangerous at night though, steer clear then. Famous for Mount Druitt High where every HSC student failed one year. Best area in this part of Sydney is Dharruk.

  • Train
  • Shopping Centre

Not great for

  • Poor schools
  • Dangerous at night
  • No community

Well if you did your research you would know that SMH got into ALOT of trouble for misleading the public with their INCORRECT INFO!!! The Class We Failed, was a lie.

You mean the Daily Telegraph? In fact the entire class of 1996 students from Mount Druitt High went on to be either a neurosurgeon or actuary.

I know of many people who have attended EXTREMELY expensive schools and to your dis-apointment, they too are not neurosurgeons. Please do not enter the debate about schooling, our ridiculous government, who has taken away the power from the teachers are most to blame...
