Evanston South

"Where the City Meets the Country"

Evanston South on the outer north eastern edge of Adelaide's suburban area. It is a low income area but doesn't seem to have the same problems of the inner northern suburbs. It is a place to downsize debt and retire or just start out in the property market.

Great for

  • Young family area
  • Tree Change

Not great for

  • Lack of facilities
  • Distance from the city

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids
  • Retirees

I wouldn't say its CLOSE to the city! That's wrong! It should be 40-50 minutes to get there.

Bellevue Heights is 14km from CBD. About 20mins.

Not close to the city, pretty far for Adelaide standards. And no neighborhood deli or grocery store here, have to drive to Pasedena, Blackwood or Marion. So if you don't have a car, be prepared for a big walk. Beautiful views though and very green with lots of reserves. It's still undeveloped still with loads of potential.
