Surfers Paradise is seen to be a glitzy glamouress suburb although underneath the underbelly of the heart of surfers lurks a vicious, violent and some times very serious dangerous situations. The area needs to be cleaned up in a big way. And these builders building cheap quality try to get maximum return and sell units way too over priced. I bought unit in surfers lost money terrible experience..will never look in surfers to buy or rent again. Like they say some like it some hate it!

To visit maybe surf or spend day with family or on holiday yes great place to visit. Now living there my experience was a different story and i really did not enjoy it. I just did not get a real connection or good vibe from the place.

Before i moved to Brisbane several years back i asked people where is the best place to live? The best advice i got was from someone who said to me...

'If you work in the city then its a choice between a small house in New Farm or an apartment in the City"

Now i love living high in the skies with great views but now days apartments are small and expensive, especially when you way up the cost of body corporate.

Whether your renting your buying the best choose in the entire city is New Farm because of its all round diversity, nightlife, cafes and restaurants blended with its super central location of which is walking distance to the pubs and work in the city cbd.

Did you watch the state of origin? Thats right QLD won again so where better to live than the capital city for QLD, Brisbane. I really enjoy living in brisbane and its love its old architecture and all round queenslander fell about it.

Will never move very happy living somewhere so handy and easy to get too public transport is a major plus plus!
