"Good Place to Invest"
I've owned a unit in Surfers for about 8 years. It's been the best investment I have ever made. Occupancy rates are excellent and the place is always alive with a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Great for night-life if you're young at heart. You can buy cheaply too, so great for first home buyers. Because there are always people around at all hours I've always felt safe. Occasionally you find drunks but that's in any part of the world that's a hub - you get all levels of society. There's lots to see and do and shopping's great.

Hey Adam, I have done extremely well in property in this area, easy to get reliable tenants.
Over the years I have been involved the economy has really deversified there are many other industries besides just tourism and many more people deciding to make it home.
Nova I agree. I have lived in Surfers since 2001. The seven properties I have purchased in Surfers Paradise in this time have all acheived very positive gains.
As the Hilton, Soul, Foreshore, Rapid Transit and other developments complete as well as the many other plans for the area over the next five years, Surfers Paradise will continue it's popularity amongth a diverse demographic.
A desirable location to holiday, swim, shop, work and continue as a growing residential and business location.
