Mawson Lakes

"An Up and Coming area"

Mawson Lakes offers all you need, and is a good spot for raising a family with a number of schools in the region as well as recreational and sporting facilities.

It is an "Up and Coming" area where the facilities are fabulous.

The Lakeside Cafe and Resturants are a great place to relax and meet up with friends.

Following is some more information as why Mawson Lakes is one of the best places to work and live:

*Work and live in the same suburb with many companies based at Mawson Lakes
*Central to City-Beach-Barossa Valley
*Recycled water
*3 Amazing Lakes
*Interchange Transport Hub
*12 kilometres to the City
*Restaurants and cafes
*Retirement Village
*Specialty shops with up and coming bigger Woolworths and proposed Big W store.
*Technology Park
*Dog Park
*26 kilometre network of Hike and Bike trails
*Beach Volleyball Courts
*Canoeing
*Tennis Courts
*Basketball Courts
*9 Hole Golf Course
*Kayaking
*Model Boat Sailing
*BBQ facilities as well as over 100 playgrounds, parks and gardens

The suburb is home to ‘Technology Park’, which is the base for the head offices of a number of technological businesses, including a large concentration of defence contractors and telecommunications companies. It is also the base for a campus of the University of SA.

One cannot ask for anything else in this new and up coming area.

Plus, I didn't even know that there was a retirement village in Mawson Lakes, so, thanks for the information.

"Lovely place to raise a young family"

A childcare centre is located almost adjacent to this street which would make this street suitable for any family bringing up a young family. This street would also be idea for anyone working in the Mawson Lakes area as it would not be far to do the pick up and drop of the children and one can even come and see them on their lunch break. Cafe's are about five minutes away.

I have to agree with you there Peter, Brompton is a fabulous area and I love the new developments too!

Sounds as if Brompton in general and especially Kiln Street are very safe and friendly. Is there much traffic coming through this street.

I don't think everything should be 5 stars. Safe and Sound should be 2 stars (its not that safe)

"Private & Neighbourly"

This area is blissfully peaceful and quiet and only minutes away from Tea Tree Plaza yet in a great central location. It is also minutes away from the popular Golden Grove Shopping Centre.

This home is definitley value for money and a great investment opportunity or an enjoyable lifestyle in a private setting.

Overall in a perfect spot, most properties are set high on the hill, so most enjoy great views of either greenery or the city and night lights.

"Fabulous Commuinty Spirit & Stunning Lake"

There is never enough positive feedback to say about Mawson Lakes, such a fabulous community spirit and everyone is so friendly and helpful with neighbours looking out for one another.

A very clean and secure area with fantastic eating out places where you will definitely return to catch up with friends.

It is about 13 kilometres from Adelaide, and can be a 25 minute drive. Over the last few years the area has grown rapidly, with a number of modern sub-division style homes and state-of-the-art design elements, so it is definitely not your average sub-division. There are a number of lifestyle elements here, one of my favourites has to be the stunning lake in the heart of the suburb .

Mawson Lakes its just a great lifestyle and I would recommend anyone to work or move here.

"Established Residential Suburb in a quiet street"

Located in the heart of the city this area would be ideal for family with kids who go to school locally.

Public transport is easily accessible to the Golden Grove Shopping Centre & Tea Tree Plaza shopping complex. By car - fifteen minutes drive.

These blocks are big with fabulous landscaping and delightful views.

This house is set in a well established residential suburb where neighborhood pride is reflected in the well kept homes.

"Nothing like City Living"

Their is nothing like city living especially if you work in the heart of it. One can even go home on there lunch breaks!

I have lived in the Adelaide city and loved every minute of it. The cafe's, the restaurants and shops are all walking distance.

I have to say living in the heart of Adelaide would be ideal for young couples and professionals that work in the city.
