Brookwater

"Green oasis"

Leafy, quality suburb built around a world class golf course. Nice place to live if you like peace and quiet and being surrounded by green spaces. We love walking to keep fit and find it just great here. We've lived inner city and sardine suburbs before and plenty of places where homes don't get looked after. Nobody is too close here and people are very house-proud which makes a big difference to the look and feel of the place. The parks and public spaces are always clean and kept manicured thanks to home owners club. We eat out a lot and like to head to the movies. There are great options here close by in every direction. Door to door drive for my work in CBD is 35-40 mins ( I have friends in Coorparoo and Morningside whose drive can take as long as mine). Getting to airport is a breeze with the new tunnel, and Gold Coast is an easy hour away via Loan Motorway.
There are a few things missing from the local area that we could use like - a car wash, a great seafood restaurant, off the leash dog park, good walking and cycle path to the train station - but that is about it.
