Sunshine

"Diamond in the rough"

When I tell people I've lived in Sunshine, it's mostly met with a cringe and a groan or wide eyed 'why?!?!' To those people I say, take a walk on the wild side. Sunshine has more to offer than meets the eye, with schools and universities close by, as well as a newly renovated station that will take you to the city in 25-30 minutes and all amenities nearby with cost of living at a reasonable price, there's a lot this suburb has to give. There's also lots of local places to eat and shop at, and even the occasional festival. Many will say Sunshine is a dangerous suburb or feels unsafe which is a shame because this bad reputation is hard to shake off, however locals will tell you how loveable Sunshine is, and they won't fight you on it, promise!

Seddon

"Stylish Seddon"

Walking through Seddon and peering into its multiple cafes, independent bookstores and quaint boutique shops is like flipping through a beautiful curated magazine full of beautiful pastries to try, coffees to drink and places to shop at. Perfect for the creative professional, Seddon is close to beautiful parks, full of street art and most cafes are pet friendly to enjoy the suburb's pleasures with your buddy. While not great for anyone looking for a nightlife, Seddon is close to suburbs like Yarraville and Footscray, both which have a myriad of bars to check out and luckily are just a hop and a skip from your front door. What is most likeable about Seddon however is how it breathes life and warmth back into the neighbourhood and provides a real sense of community.
