Dandenong North

"A quiet, peaceful neighbourhood for families with kids"

We've moved here about two years ago and have found the neighbourhood quiet, peaceful and clean. Bus stations are accessible, convenience stores (e.g. Brady Road shops) are near, parks are clean, childcare centre is available, and schools (both primary and high schools) are 5-10 minute walks within the area.

Dandenong North is about 7 minutes to Waverley Gardens mall and about 10-minutes to Dandenong Plaza ---which is currently under plans for better roads and improvements, pushing up the price of houses around the area. East link is easily accesible and so is the M1 freeway. The Valley Private Hospital and Dandenong Hospital are between 5-10minutes drive from the area.

If you are looking for a suburb that is near and accessible to everything but not nearly as expensive as Clayton, Mulgrave or the like, then Dandenong North is an excellent alternative.
