George Town is a small coastal Town in North East Tasmania. Surrounded by beaches and the Tamar River, George Town has all you need with 3 schools, 2 supermarkets, and a variety of local cafes and restaurants and it is only a 35 Minute's Drive to Launceston if you need anything else. I lived on the mainland for many years, and then made the decision to move here. I have now lived in George Town for 2 years and I love the laid-back feel that the town offers.
