Auburn

"Don't dismiss it immediately"

I grew up in Auburn in the 1980s and it was wonderful. A family of 8 first generation aussies we lived in.a.cul de sac.and had lovely kind Aussie neighbours on either side of us, walked to primary school and church and down to the sweet shop on weekends. Rode the bus to High school. Never had a problem.

I'm told Auburn used to be a beautiful suburb back in the day. If you explore you will. find some delightful homes from yesteryear.

Now with waves of immigration and.poor development it.is rare to see.anyone with blonde hair.

Still my mum still lives there and we go shopping there. I enjoy having an adana plate at Five Brothers every once.in a.while. I guess you could.say I have a soft.spot.for.Auburn.
