"Okay if you want to stay in your house"
If you need to actually leave point cook, prepare for an epic travel time. The traffic is ridiculous, the buses don't line up with the trains and the roads are like epic, bumpy, pothole filled rollercoasters.
Don't be fooled into thinking it's close to the CBD, it's not. it's a big, curvy drive around the bay to get into town.

Agree with you POintcOOkL sounds very like a review last month and I don't think they live here either. Traffic isn't great at peak but is no different than the East of Melbourne and if you look at the top ten congested spots we don't feature. http://www.thecourier.com.au/story/4582580/the-worst-melbourne-suburbs-to-live-in-at-peak-hour/?cs=3968 .Under 30 mins to the CBD off peak. I love being this close to the CBD but also the Great Ocean Road. Best of both worlds. Where looks like a ghetto in Point Cook?
I totally agree with cassiem2. I lived in PC for 6 years and decided it was too stressful to get to work especially when you start at 8.30am. Point Cook does not even have their own train station amd have to use Williams landing. Getting to the station is the worst and driving to the city is the worst. There are mini towncentres but if you need a shopping centre for ok food or browse shops, you need to go to Hoppers or Highpoint. May as well buy in Hopper Crossing.
