Douglas is a versatile suburb that is located in close proximity to the Townsville Hospital and its associated facilities, the University and has excellent connections to the Outer Ring Road which cuts travelling time north and south significantly. There is excellent shopping opportunities nearby and the suburb is highly regarded.

Deeragun along with Burdell is home to quite a number of new estates that are of a high quality, there is adequate shopping opportunities nearby and there is easy access to the highway and a short drive to the airport, leisure opportunities abound and the block sizes are bigger then average in most estates, basically you have options. Schools are in excellent supply and the area is quite peaceful.

I live in Elliot Springs just south of Townsville but work in an office in North Ward, I just have to say that although I don't live here, I could imagine myself doing so, its refreshing to have lunch overlooking Magnetic Island as the Seabreeze rolls in, the calming waters and relaxed atmosphere of North Ward make it very popular and its not hard to see why its average price is in the $700,000 range. You really do get what you pay for.

I lived here for quite a number of years and it was a relief to get out, I moved to Elliot Springs just south of Townsville and the lifestyle here is much better then I found in Cairns. The people are nicer and I feel happier. I wouldn't live in Cairns or Edmonton again.

I think a lot reviews on here are fake and I have checked and a few come from the same IP address. Get a life. Sale is a very inviting place that has quite a lot to offer, I have never had an unfriendly experience but even if I did so what it happens everywhere, there is adequate jobs available just remember the size of the city and don't try and compare it to Melbourne a city of millions which is easily accessible by the train if you need your big city fix. Sale is perfect for the growing family. I couldn't be happier here and I would say majority of people's experience would be incongruent with the negative reviews here fake or real.
