West Hobart

"My favourite suburb"

West Hobart is adjacent to the CBD and juts high into the foothills of Mount Wellington. Stunningly beautiful, with the houses high on the hills having incredible views!
A large range of housing types ranging from early 1900s cottages, to modern mansions.
Charming parks and large areas of bushland including popular Knocklofty reserve.
Wedged between north hobart and the CBD: all the services you could possibly need are only a fewminutes away.
The only down side is that I can't afford to buy there.

North Hobart

"Charming and cool"

I lived in North Hobart for 2 years whilst I worked at the Royal Hobart Hospital. The street I lived on was basically entirely inhabited by the medical community.
I loved living in North Hobart- it has awesome cafes and restaurants, charming houses built in the early 1900s and I walked to work every day.
The only down side was that I couldn't afford to buy a house in this suburb.
Highly recommend for young professionals. Such a lively and cool place to live.

Rosetta

"Suburbia"

Rosetta is a completely suburban suburb in the Glenorchy municipality. The nearest services are located in Glenorchy. Just like many suburbs in Hobart, it is largely car-dependent. Generally low-socioeconomic but considered one of the safer suburbs located within Glenorchy municipality.

Rosny

"Hidden Gem"

To be honest I hadn't stepped foot into Rosny until recently. It has glorious views all over Hobart CBD, the river and the bridge. So peaceful and yet only 7 min drive to the city.
Though it doesn't have the best public transport access.
Plenty of green space and and Clarence foreshore trail is excellent.
Very happy that I bought here.
