Castle Hill

"Mansion city with the personality of a piece of wet cardboard"

Yes, Castle Hill is a nice suburb. There's the Heritage Park nearby which is awesome if you have small kids or dogs, some local shops (The Local Bean in Knightsbridge is amazing), and the large Castle Towers shopping centre. However, be prepared to drive everywhere, which is ironric due to the lack of petrol stations apart from the 7-11 which IMPOSSIBLE to get to. Castle Hill is a victim of its own complexity, meaning that the nearest bus stop is either a 40-minute walk or a 4-minute drive. There is the new Metro railway coming in, but 10 years too late. Whoever said it's only 30 mins to the city needs their head checked. Try an hour and half on the overcrowded 610X, stopping every 15 seconds to pick somebody up. Getting home is even worse as the busses get clogged up behind 1 set of lights, past the QVB.
