My partner and I bought in January because this area was so affordable and was still fairly close to the city. We were surprised to find out how much green space there was along the Darebin Creek which is great for walking our dogs. This area has had a poor reputation in the past but there are many signs of improvement. Many new houses are being built and there is a local Neighbourhood Renewal project that is working to tackle local issues.
