I have lived in Springfield from 2010 for a year. Bought a house in Springfield Lakes since 2011 and we live here till now.

We love it. The parks are great, nice and big. We been to many many suburbs and take my daughter with us to the parks, most suburbs parks just not comparable with Springfield Lakes.

So many schools to choose from, no trouble to get to a school, private school (St. Peters) are cheaper than you pay near the city. Even so, none of them are better school compare them with schools near Brisbane.

We live here for many years, we saw how quick the suburb growth. Shopping centre expended double or tribble, so many schools, kindy, parks, train line, highway expend etc all in recent years. It`s still expending with more and more house together with new facilities being built.

So many people move in so start to be crowed. But when you expecting now shoppings open, new development kick in, you have to accept that all these base on the suburb increase population.

Traffic is not good. Take too long to the city. I use Legacy so take me 45 minutes to the Brisbane City.

Overall I think this suburb is safe, I walk my dog every night. I never heard about robbery and something like that happens. We have 1 break in. I heard from the police they are young people from Log## area.

I read peoples comment , some of them complains everything with no grace with anything. If you are complain everything why you move to here, why you live here. There must be some reason bring you here right? It must be cheaper than the suburb you couldn't afford or better than the suburb you don`t want to. The traffic is not good is fact but which suburb is better unless you live in the Brisbane city. It`s just my opinion, we should be graceful for everything we have.
