Davies Street

"Best street in Goodna"

It is new estate. from 19 Davies street onwards houses are modern low set brick houses. not more than 5 years old. nice street closer to the bus stops. only thing missing is the trees. council should look into it after it is done maintaining roads and shopping centre after floods. This street was not flodded at all in 2010 floods. water was nowhere at site.

Goodna

"Great first home"

Goodna is about25 kms from the Brisbane city. It takes around 35 mins max to reach Central Station in the morning as the trians are express. Ipswich motorway upgrade is excellent as driving doesn't take much time and there are 4 lanes on the motorway. You can get a good size home at low price. Things are changing in Goodna specially after the floods as new establishments are comming up. Shopping is very convenient as it is close to Mt Ommaney and Redbank Plaza. Only disadvantage I see is there are not much recreational activities. time will change all this as new people move in the area. You just need to open your mind and see goodna as what it is now rather than how it was in the past. This place has improved a lot in the last 5 years . I love my locality and neighbours. I see loads of professionals living in the area around me. There are people who still live like bogans but lately I have seen families settling in the area.

Overall it is good suburb if you want to step into housing market and live in a good area.
