Kellyville Ridge

"Good place for first home buyers"

This suburb has got everything quality homes, shopping options, parks, good resale and rental value. This suburb is surrounding by quality homes which attracts people to live in that place. It's surrounded by good suburbs like stanhope gardens, the ponds etc. You have two shopping options here if I am right. One there's a stanhope village(stanhope gardens) and the second is the rouse hill town centre. Comparatively to the suburbs surrounded by city it is more affordable and you get the well maintained and newly constructed houses with reasonable prices. It's a good place for first home buyers. It takes about 50mins to get to city by car and there are T-way buses that comes to the ponds area and stanhope gardens where you can catch it and go to city which I think will take about 1hour20mins.

Quakers Hill

"Awesome place"

I have been visiting quakers hill a lot these days as I am looking to buy a property in quakers hill or surrounding suburbs. The suburb is very well maintained and it is surrounded by quality homes. It takes about 50mins from there to the city and the station is all newly constructed. The streets are clean and green. It's a good place to live in for first home buyers and I am one of them as well.

Schofields

"An ordinary suburb!"

Hi, just went to schofields on the other day to look for some properties but when I got there I was in shock!. As some people wrote before that it is an upcoming suburb, but to me I think that suburb will start to develop in next 5-10 years of time and that is a long time away. The area close to quakers hill and the ponds is quite developed but other than that there's nothing there except for farms and animals. The Schofields station is well constructed but what you gonna do with just the station as it surrounded by remote areas. I don't think moving to that area right now is a good choice unless you like living in those type of areas.

Great for

  • Nice Railway Station

Not great for

  • Too remote to live now
  • Don't see it as developed area
  • Some roads

Too remote!

Rouse Hill town center is less than 5 minutes drive away. Castle Hill is 10 minutes away and Parramatta is 20 minutes away. I can be in the city in 45 minutes.

Well, i am not saying about shopping options. Saying "remote" means that you see the area surrounded by station is all open nothing developed there. Only the area close to quakers hill is developed with good homes. But now many builders have bought the land close to the station, so yea still don't prefer there to live.
Well, thats my opinion and everyone has there own review.

like it surrounded by bushes and parklands

Does the Train station have a name yet, so that I can may be check out the routes how to get there ? I am looking to buy in the area and would love to have the train option. I was looking into Kings Langley, The Ponds etc.. but none of them have a train staion.

Jaysvee...it's not so much about how it looks like now though. It's about how sustainable it can grow for years to come. For me it has a huge potential to grow sustainably. What would happen once they extend north west rail link to Marsden park via Schofields, with an aim to connect to T1 line? It's an interchange! As for the road traveler, it's more to do with how fast you can get to M7. The best way to achieve that is to get to Richmond Rd in Marsden Pk which is way wider than the Windsor Rd!! With the upgraded Schofields Rd, Schofields residents have even more options on how to get to M7 (Windsor Rd, Quaker hills pkwy, Richmond Rd, etc).
