Don't let the high rise housing commission and dodgey looking chinese food put you off. Beyond the perceived negatives (and I say perceived because the chinese food is actually really good, make sure you try the lemon chicken at Chop Chop!) is an up and coming area with a real sense of old school community. You know - neighbours who know your name, take you bins in, and invite you to the neighbour hood party in the local park - no? Well, believe it, it's here, it still exists, here in Flemington.

It's the real sense of community along with beautiful old houses, tree lined streets, and great cafes (not to mention i get to sleep as my train trip each day to the Docklands is only 15mins!) that's going to make Flemington the next big thing.
