"too crowded now"
we have been living in the chase estate now for 4 years and we are moving out to quiet beaconsfield . the traffic is terrible now with clyde freeway , trying to get out to get to high st can take at least 25 mins during end of school time . look it was pretty good when we first moved in but it has just got to big . it is really safe on the streets but the traffic has killed it for us . plus the overcrowding !!! you just want some space .

I agree. Berwick used to be a pretty, rural-style suburb, but it now there's too many estates with bland houses squeezed on tiny blocks with narrow roads and too much traffic. There's a particularly awful high-density development behind eden rise shopping centre - the units all look the same and a re packed in like sardines - check the pic of it on google maps.
The nicest part of Berwick is the oldest part near the main street, north of Princes Hwy.
