Having bought a beautiful circa 1930's Californian Bungalow late last year on the boarder of Eastlakes/Mascot I can't recommend this suburb highly enough. Positively positioned with range of Child day care, schooling, shops, transportation beaches and bays a very short drive away, plus over the last 7 months a continued property value increase with a noticeable increase in property going to auction, not enough available property to meet the demand, so if you see a good opportunity make a strong offer so not to miss out if this is your desired area.

From my experience, people on average are friendly and will take the time of day to say G'day, which was a pleasant surprise after moving from Arncliffe.

The only thing that may put some people off is the noise pollution from Sydney Airport (day & night), so check out the route when planes are on approach or taking off, because of this we factored in Double Glazing as part of our renovations.
