Brookwater

"False advertising, all smoke and mirrors"

Moved into Brookwater recently. Full of ‘would bes, if could bes’. Full of rentals. Levies are exorbitant. Springfield Land Corporation profits from these levies as not all money goes back into estate. “Looks good” at residents expense so developer can put high price on their land for sale. This ‘Brookwater Home Owners Club’ is a joke, nepotism rife, egotistical, abusive sycophants on their Facebook groups and they don’t hold meetings correctly, don’t issue agendas and you are ushered out of meetings, secret closed door business. Upped the levies without consultation, increased employees wages without consulting residents, gave the nod for golf course to start earlier than 6 am every morning without consulting residents. All secret. If you dare complain the garden maintenance not done, you’re vilified publically. They don’t uphold the convents, we were told they are powerless by chairperson!? No accountability, no adherence to QLD BODY CORPORATE AND COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT LEGISLATION. There’s something suss with all this, associations with Ipswich Council. Seems this Brookwater is untouchable. We’renot alone with this train of thought. Crime rising fast in here too. “Dodgywaters” more like it!

Hi, thanks for your review. We've recently purchased land in the area and your review is helpful. How long have you had these concerns and is the owners club helping you rectify your concerns.

BHOC is very good at vilifying residents if they ask too many questions - like where does all the levy money goe, why are we paying tens of thousands of dollars to keep repairing a fountain just because Mr Synathamby wants it and why are we paying full council rates while were paying for total upkeep in this suburb? We were over charged on our levies and to get the money back we have to pay $50 for their Body Corporate Management to process my claim. It was their stuff up. The BHOC IS A CON GUYS, WAKE UP!
