Surfers Paradise

"Surfers Paradise..If this is Paradise then we are in big trouble!"

I lived in this apartment block Beachcomber and its way too noisy and in the so called ' scum triangle' of kinkabol, paradise(parasite) towers and beachcomber..you cant play tennis here without people abusing you and throwing things onto the tennis court from these hi rises..low rents equal low socio economic demographc ..you would not have kids here and its dangerous at night with all the nighclub drunks everywhere..another new problem is the so called 'party tours' which means that on any given night at any time you will have 200 drunks in a group going to billys beachhouse for a night out..the noise is yelling and smashing bottles till all hours.
I was going to buy a unit here but decided its a bad investment.
This is not a good place to live unless your a nightclub drunk or a bogan..then you will be in 'Paradise'!
The beach is good but now polluted compared to 10 years ago ..sand used to be a nice whitish color..now its a dark yellow and pollution pours from the drains and is visible to see from the hi rises.
anyway hopefully rising sea levels will wash it all away!

These places you refer are low rent. There are many well managed and high quality accommodation buildings in Surfers Paradise but if you choose the cheapest dont moan when you get what you paid for,.All beaches have storm water drains running into them, and as far as the party scene is concerned you will find this in any tourist area in the world.

This is a review of Surfers Paradise. 'surferssux' your review should be of Hanlan street if you would like to refer to the buildings of Beachcomber, Kinkabool and Paradise Towers (PT also on Surfers Paradise Blvd and Trickett St).

Yes these have among the cheapest rents in central Surfers Paradise. Surfers Paradise as a suburb includes streets to the north and south of the 'scum triangle' and the satellite suburbs known as Island of Capri, Paradise Island, Chevron Island and Paradise Waters.

I have lived in Surfers Paradise since 2001, a number of different areas and buildings. Invested in seven properties, apartments and houses, and am confident of the future of Surfers Paradise.

Soul, Hilton, Rapid Transit, Surfers Paradise Foreshore and much more that is planned for the next 5 years.

Surfers Paradise - See for yourself.
