"Having mixed feelings about Bondi Junction"

I have been living in Bondi Junction for almost 5 years. I have mixed feelings about the suburb. Bondi Junction is great for young and outgoing singles. You have easy access to public transport, lots of restaurants and shopping centres, great schools, great medical facilities, parks and many more.

The downside is that if you live in an apartment (either as a renter or as an owner), your neighbours can make or break your living experience. When I first moved to Bondi Junction I had awesome and respectful neighbours. Unfortunately, when Covid hit, they moved. My new neighbours were weed-addicts and late-partiers. They would smoke weed and stinked the whole floor, party late at night and slam every single cupboard in their unit as hard as possible. They eventually left, but it was such a horrible experience. Bondi Junction is a mixed area, so you'd come across all types of people, including very rude ones.

Lots of smoking outside the train station. I dislike that because train station has a lot of kids and young adults. It's very unhealthy.

"Too noisy"

Jesus Christ, this was the first suburb I lived in since I moved to Australia, and it was AWFUL. The people were nice, the neighbourhood was harmonious and friendly, everyone was so respectful and quiet. If it weren't for the aircraft noise, I would NEVER leave. But I left after 5 months because I was going freaking insane. Constant flights from 6-11 were so loud I couldn't hear my laptop at the highest volume.
