Reviews of Yallingup, WA
"Shhh- Tell no one"
Yallingup is on the south coast of Western Australia in the Margaret River region. Yallingup is an aboriginal word meaning “Place of Love” and once you visit this area you will understand why. Away from the major tourist areas, this town is surrounded by the bush on three sides and the ocean on the fourth. Yallingup has local shops for your basic need but is close to the major towns of Dunsborough and Busselton for larger shopping centres. Markets are held at regular intervals in the area. There are good medical centres dotted around the area and there is a hospital within easy reach. Primary and secondary schools both sate and catholic are close by in Dunsborough or Busselton and Yallingup has a Steiner School. There is plenty to do here with beautiful beaches, good surf, safe swimming and a sheltered lagoon ideal for the children or non swimmer to cool off in. There are also local bars for you cold ales after a heavy morning on the beach or catching some good fish. Real estate prices are steady and in line with most other coastal towns of this size.
