Is it safe? Or a dangerous place to live.

How safe is the area? More specifically Chiswick road... ive been reading alot about shootings and it has me worried to move there.

It's mostly safe but as with any suburb there is crime. The nicer and quieter areas are more east and south side near Lidcombe. I grew up in Auburn btw but don't live there anymore, hope that helps.
