Hey KristyW1, The short answer like AdamS said is that the property is not secured until you have signed the Lease, Paid your Bond + 2 Weeks Rent. Generally speaking, each tenancy application needs to be processed and checked prior to the manager referring to the owner for their final decision as to which application to rent the property to. In some cases, properties can have 10 applications submitted and it then can take the manager a few days to process and review.

Most Professional Agency groups have an Applications Process checklist that does come with it an SMS communication update system for the applicants.

You don't have the house until you have signed the contract unfortunately. Until then, don't count on anything.
