"Just terrible"
I lived on the GC for 3 long years. The first year was okay but after that I was looking for any way possible to get out of this hole. Everything bad about Australia is all summed up by the Gold Coast - i.e. perfect little sea side town is destroyed by corruption and greed. The damage is truely done and likely not reversable. Basically every other sea side town is a better choice.
"The Busiest Street in the Gold Coast"
Cavill Avenue is by far the busiest place in the Gold Coast. It is a shoppers paradise as well as leading down to the famed Surfers Paradise beach.
However, if you don't like crowds, then you will hate Cavill. It gets especially busy during schoolies when nearly every year 12 graduate migrates for a week of parties.
