Is Morley centro galleria shopping centre area safe?

There are a lot of local initiatives trying to make it safer than it has been.

yes its safe. I lived here for years and go every couple of days and never had one problem. It can get really busy which can make people feel trapped i supose. My fav is morley and belmont shops.

Morley Galleria is one of several large metropolitan shopping centres with Myers as the main Dept store, supported by Kmart, Target and a huge number of high quality clothing stores, coffee shops and other shops. The 'get me out of here' feeling above would seem to be more applicable at the end of a huge shopping day after you have walked to all four corners of the centre. I have been to small local shopping centres with just a Coles and a few supporting stores - in some areas they might inspire me to leave rather quickly.

Morley is generally considered an okay to good area to live in a mid range budget. But, if you live across the road from the major bus terminal (which you can't anyway) then naturally there will be issues with by standers and people hanging around.

No it's the worst shopping centre I have ever been to. I've been twice and will never go again. It has that "get me out of here" feeling of being unsafe
