What is southport like for young kids and families
I am a single mum in my 40's and was wanting to move to the Gold Coast with my young girls. I heard the Southport school is very good and the suburb seems close to Beaches Medical and shops. However is it safe for young families are there lots of crime or drugs around.
Are there better areas for young families in the gold coast that is safer and good schools. The realestate prices are going up and now can only afford an townhouse compared to last year an house.

Great suburb for families and young children. Everything is at your doorstep including the Broadwater parks, dog parks, children parks and SeaWorld. Schools within walking distance.
