Port Arthur

"Nice and green"

Came here with a friend of mine whilst we were at the Hobart Boat Show and also on the way through to St Helens to visit a boat manufacturer where my friend Joseph purchased his his 23 seater Jet Boat, now on the island of Cos in Greece. Enjoyed Port Arthur and the history of the place.

Busselton

"Future strong growth"

Now here is a place where my wife and I visited and from 20 years ago to just recent and although still a lovely town atmosphere, this place is booming. Enjoyed the swimming and the water was absolutely flat. We brought a truck tyre tube and that's where I floated. A nice town and Busselton has come a long way since we first visited 20 years ago.

Coober Pedy

"Absolutely unique and the most interesting place in Austrralia."

I love Cooper Pedy. Spent some great times here. My wife Angela's uncle Peter
( Known to the locals as "Black Peter" Passed away ) Greek Born, yet always outdoors mining and outdoors, thus a very deep tan. "Black Peter" was one of the fortune seekers who went to dig for opal. A great town with many friendly and interesting characters and the nicest people you could ever meet. There is a Greek Hall built, great opal shopping, and a lovely place as a must visit and stay for a few days, or a few more days to ad, just to gain that inspirational feeling, how living in a town full of interesting people and history with such a lovely atmospehere, in the middle desert really feels like. The air is so clean the stars look like lights in the heavens. Yes , no flicker. Amazing !

We went to a local party and there out the back yard under the stars there was a huge leg of cow being basted. What happened to the simple souvlaki, or steak on the barbie ?

A great place with many nationalities that warm together to make Cooper Pedy one of the most interesting places in Australia.

Absolutely awesome and a must visit place.

"Great holiday destination"

Great beaches and fantastic fishing. Located a little over two hours drive from Sydney and if you are into four wheel driving then go visit Stockton beach and the sand dunes. Took my jet boat the dolphins were riding in with me along side. A holiday town yet a cosmopolitan funky place to live and to spend a weekends.

Good marina and nice restaurants.
