Visited family and stayed in Laurimar Doreen for a few weeks. You can tell this community has been thoughtfully planned with the residents in mind. Streets are wide and generous. Trees and flora are well established. LOTS of green spaces. I've visited a few family-friendly suburbs around the state and country and this one is clearly outstanding. Mainly white European demography. The community centre has a highly-rated Kindergarten and the local primary school is run by a principal who runs a tight ship and well respected. The school runs lots of programs for my nephews who are school aged. I felt very safe during my stay here even late at night. Most people are polite and friendly and I did not witness or experience any anti-social behaviour. There were enough quality restaurants and takeaways in the town centre to keep me satisfied during my short stay. Overall, it's currently number one on my list of suburbs to live in if I ever wanted to raise a family.
