"Nice and warm countryside"

I have moved here in 2018. In the beginning, I really worried about the negative news about this suburb. But on the first day, my neighbor gave us a nice and warm welcome. While we are doing painting and gardening, they are willing to help always. After one and a half years of living here, I am pretty sure the bad news is not right. It is definitely stereotype. Although you can tell not so many people are well educated till the University level, it does not mean they are bad people. Most of our neighbors are working at laborers, they are working for TasWater, for transportation, for Brighton transportation centers. But they say hi to you on the streets while you are running. So I do not think any reason that stops you from the bad news to live here. Once I cried at the riverside and a man with a dog talked to me and stayed awhile with me. He may afraid that I am in deep depression and doing some stupid things. But I just had a small fight with my partner, not a big deal. Aha. Even though that time, I prefer to stay with myself for a while, I still appreciate the nice concerns from a stranger of my community.
And the shopping center is very convenient. It is just 5 mins drive from home to grocery. There are both coles and woolies. There are reject shop and domino pizza shops. There are both MacDough and KFC. So for young people, it would be an easy place to live in.
So recommend and welcome questions. I am providing updated news, so hopefully can give you some help.

BTW, my neighbors are both having a diploma degree at least. They do a lot of volunteering work for the community. My partner and I are both having full-time jobs, so unfortunately we can not donate to much time to our community but we appreciate their hard work.
