St Albans

"Gentrification of a very old suburb on it's way up the new Footscray of the North/West"

Huge wide streets and blocks that are great for subdivision. Old houses disheartening fast with lovely new townhouses popping up everywhere. Great new train-station, yummy restaurants, great schools, new upgraded Sunshine hospital 5 minutes away and Keillor Downs Shopping centre 2 minutes drive. The are building a $52 million dollar swimming/sports complex on Taylors Road too. This area has the comfort factor for busy mums and dads that you can shop/schools/trains/buses/freeways/hospitals all only a 5-10min drive away. Also the city is only 30 on the freeway, Altona beach is 25min. Also the airport is only 15-20minutes using the back roads. Best to buy now before you are priced out. Plenty of church's, temples and even has a mosque close by. There is Brimbank Shopping complex, Sunshine, Caroline Springs and Watergardens Shopping centres all only a 5-10 drive. Sunshine is getting really expensive to find a large block now so St.Albans makes a great choice as it's fast moving on the way up. There are trolls here bagging it for drug addicts which is sad for them as they don't ask to be on the streets but for smart people they know they they're harmless and keep to themselves and will eventually be priced out.

Who lives here?

Mitzi you are the troll talking this dangerous suburb up. Im convinced you are either a developer or real estate agent with this propaganda above and all your trolling comments below. Buyers beware and go see the suburb for yourself

Slanderous LMAO. Youre confusing the negative comments with honesty which clearly from your review you dont know how to be. Good luck Mitzi with your real estate sales!

When you insist on going into every single persons reply section to ram your opinion down peoples throats, it really paints a negative picture about your own motives.

Every single person who disagrees with you you accuse of being a real estate agent or someone with ulterior motives to saying nice things about the area, when anyone with half a brain would understand that not everyone has the same experience as you.

It looks like a sad cry for attention, and honestly it's pretty pathetic.

St.Albans is fast becoming the gate way to the newer suburbs of the North West. While prices are still within the reach of some NOW is the best time to buy before it's out of reach. There are some huge blocks of land with old houses on them ripe for developing. The new $50 million plus aquatic centre has made thousands of locas so happy. Only 25 minutes to the CBD on the train or Tulla makes even more sense to move to this once forgotton but now flowering suburb!
