What can people tell me about Brentwood?
Have heard whispers since that it is a heavy Homes West area and the school is hit and miss
Would love some insight from locals or people who know. On paper it's perfect for our needs

Hi, I live in Brentwood (Beamish Ave) and it's great. The river is close by, my 4yr old son attends the local primary school and we are in the Rossmoyne/Applecross high school zone. There is homes west housing closer to the school and you sometimes see undesirables walking around but we have lived here 4 years so far and encountered no problems. Occasionally the police put up electronic signs reminding you to keep houses locked (we have forgotten to lock our car once and it was searched but nothing taken) but I think crime is everywhere. The access to the freeway is fantastic and Fremantle is easy to access too. Hope this helps.
Brentwood has a beautiful community feel.
A very active town team, you can find them on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BrentwoodVTT/ to connect to their social and community events. It's on the river, great parks, community shopping, Brentwood Primary School. Blue gum Community Centre, Tennis and Squash Courts, Blue Gum Lake. Great walking trails.
